LED / LCD

IXY's LED driver products including capacitor based DC-DC (charge pump), inductor based DC-DC (boost) and low drop-out linear LED driver ICs for use in small, middle and large display backlighting. MOSFET/LED lighting seeks penetration in high-power LED commercial lighting. LCD display driver ICs are incorporated in smart-phone handsets of leading cell phone manufacturers.

RF Power & Systems

IXYS is a leading manufacturer of radio frequency and microwave discrete semiconductor products, GaA Schottky diodes, MOSFET Driver ICs, wireless amplifier products, microwave amplifiers, MMIC amplifiers and hybrid modules. Applications: industrial RF, medical (MRI machines, image resolution), military/aerospace and telecommunications (amplifiers for WiFi/WiMAX stations, MMICs for cell).

Renewable Energy

WIND: In the supply chain for wind-generated electricity, power semiconductors are needed to efficiently translate raw energy into clean energy for consumer use. IXYS was one of the first suppliers of power semiconductor chips to control the high voltage conversion from wind power to the electric grid.
