Industrial

Medical Devices

QNX Software Systems enables safe, intuitive, connected, medical devices. To demonstrate its commitment to the safety, security, and reliability required for medical devices QNX has undertaken several strategic certification programs including: IEC61508 SIL 3, ISO/IEC15408, EAL4+, and ISO. Safety-critical and secure realtime operating systems

QNX® Neutrino® RTOS Certified Plus is the first and only RTOS to offer both IEC 61508 certification at Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL 3) and Common Criteria ISO/IEC 15408 certification at Evaluation Assurance Level 4+ (EAL 4+). This unique dual certification offers a significant advantage to any manufacturer whose products must satisfy rigorous demands for functional safety and data security in, industrial applications (robotics, networking), power plants, medical/hospitals, and other mission-critical environments.

HMI and graphics

QNX Software Systems provides a comprehensive offering for quickly developing visually compelling and high-performing embedded graphics applications. It is based on the concept of a unified user experience, which can support the best human-machine interface (HMI) technologies of today, and is easily expandable to include new technologies as they are available. QNX Software System’s HMI technology stack supports Qt, Elektrobit’s Guide, Crank’s Storyboard, and OpenGL ES 2.0 now, and will be adding support for HTML5 and other technologies soon.
