Arrow is a major Authorized Distributor for Tekmos. Since Tekmos was authorized by Freescale as a source for replacement of the its’ 68HC05, 68HC11 and select 68000 devices has enabled the relationship to move rapidly to offer customers alternative source options for the Freescale devices which were interrupted by the Japan earthquake.

About Tekmos Tekmos was founded in 1997 and its founders were previously the team which completed over 3000 FPGA and ASIC conversions while at Orbit Semiconductor. Tekmos has expanded beyond FPGA and ASIC conversions to feature microcontroller solutions to the Intel 80C51, 80C186EB, NXP 87C751, 89C668 and a range of Freescale microcontrollers including products in the 68HC05, 68HC11 and select 68000 products. Tekmos has the engineering experience to build code and timing compatible microcontrollers to extend product life cycles with pin for pin replacement devices. Our experience in replacing FPGAs/ASICs for the past 18 years enables the company to offer solutions to save customers from redesign. Tekmos can merge multiple designs on a single die to offer customers very low NREs and to mitigate the risk of new designs.
