For signal processing applications, our product portfolio includes small–signal offerings to meet most frequency range requirements. For designs requiring higher power ratings, we stock recovery, bridge rectifier, schottky, and zener diode products. Our diode offerings, which include a full lineup of RF and microwave diodes, can accommodate whatever your design requires.
Arrow is committed to supporting our suppliers´ new diode technology releases and will continue to stock and promote new products as they are introduced into the market. We support and have established relationships with suppliers in both the commercial and high–reliability spaces.
Created from combinations of two to four rectifying diodes, bridge rectifiers are primarily used for AC–to–DC power conversion.
Also known as power diodes, rectifier products range from 1 to 600 amperes and come in a variety of package types and voltage ranges. Find specific rectifier products at Arrow, including fast recovery diodes, schottky diodes, standard recovery diodes, switching diodes, and ultra–fast recovery diodes.
Most commonly used as voltage regulators or voltage suppressors, zener diodes maintain consistent voltage level to protect circuitry from high–voltage spikes.
Current regulator diodes are used in analog circuits as current sources for biasing and to power various sensors (e.g. pressure, accelerometers, microphones, strain gauges).
These diodes are commonly found in fiber–optic communications, scientific instrumentation, or military ⁄ aerospace applications that require a coherent, focused light source.
Pin diodes are used in high–frequency RF signal processing and microware applications such as switching circuits, attenuators, diplexers, and duplexers.
Transient voltage suppressors (TVS) diodes protect electrical circuits from unwanted power spikes.
The reverse capacitance properties of varactor, or varicap, diodes make them ideal for RF applications.
